AWLC ARTIST SHOWCASE
This project, started in June 2012, aims to revive our tradition of celebrating art by featuring a different artist at each General Meeting and choosing one of the eight exhibitors to receive an award at the end of the club year.
Featured artists are selected not only on the basis of their considerable talent, but for that special spark that keeps art dynamic and alive.
We are proud to help promote local art and talent through this project. None of the artists receive financial support for exhibiting their work, nor does the AWLC receive any funds from the sale of art or otherwise, from the artist.
