UPCOMING EVENTS
FLOWER DESIGN TIPS
During our last session we not only had a chance to express our creativity through flowers. We learned about flower arrangements, the necessary techniques for successful designs and tips on plants and flower design.
INTERNATIONAL FLOWER SHOW
Our Tips and Flowers members, some of which are also members of Flor Perú, enjoyed the international flower show organized only every 5-6 years in Peru.
Thirty one clubs participated in this year ́s show. The president of National Garden Clubs, Linda Nelson, attended and judged this show along with some members of her Board, as well as 39 Flower Show judges from nine countries.
NOCHE DE MUSICA ARRANGEMENTS
The XI Noche de Musica lit up with the beautiful flower arrangements prepared by Alicia Fermi, member of the Tips with Flowers group, who generously donated her time and inspiration to produce two gorgeous arrangements which added warmth and color to an already magical evening, and were admired by all. Thank you Alicia!
FLOWER ARRANGING TIPS
Tips with Flowers met in the lovely home and garden of one of our members, in July.

CREATIVITY BLOOMS
During our last meeting, we got really creative as we explored and presented modern, innovative, simple arrangements that were just wonderful. We used foliage and flowers such as hydrangeas, lilies, lisianthus, and roses.
FLORALIES 63rd FLOWER SHOW
We were delighted to have some of our members participate in the Floralies annual Flower Show which characterizes itself for the high level of competition.
FLOWER ARRANGING PRACTICE
In June, members practiced flower arranging with their own vases and examples. Here is a beautiful sample.
FLOWER SHOW REGULATIONS
We reviewed international flower show regulations for designing arrangements and informed the group of basic floral ideas and principles of flower design.
